Lincolnshire County Council
Introduction
The Deepings are in the county of Lincolnshire. Our County Council meets at Lincoln and has offices and depots located in the other parts of the county. The County Council is responsible for structure (strategic) planning, libraries and education, refuse disposal, highways and transport, police and fire.
MembersDeeping St James has one councillor on the County Council: Barry Dobson,who sits in on our Monthly Parish Council meetings. Barry is the County Councillor for Deepings East - which incorporates Deeping St James and parts of Market Deeping.
